“Jaagdi Neend” is the most unexpected and so far the most satisfying concept produced by XAD Films. That one evening conversation between me and Harpreet Singh Khalsa (Founder Member – www.sikhiteachings.com) sparked the idea of how virtual reality will affect our upcoming world.

Deep down in his great wealth of knowledge, Mr Khalsa shared how virtual reality has always existed in some shape and form. It’s all written down in Gurbani; various compositions by the Sikh Gurus and other writers of Guru Granth Sahib.

The whole conversation became so valuable that I decided to take it to the screen. Since then, I started working on the location, screenplay, background, team, and everything that could make this bigger and better.

We got permission to use the University of Western Australia as a location without any charges. Tarunpreet Singh from the Australian Sikh Heritage Association joined with Mr Khalsa to explain the subject in more detail.

Timandeep Singh has given his best with camera positions, lighting and all those technicalities that I am not even aware of.

Dalwinder Singh’s role in the production process made the filming much smoother and more satisfying.
